Support the Manse & Sunday School Complex
Presbyterian Church Bassa – Douala, Cameroon
In the mid-1980s, a small group of believers began gathering under a tree in what was then called “Quartier Bamenda” in Douala. They had no building. No resources. Just faith.
That prayer cell became Presbyterian Church
Bassa (PC Bassa), a congregation under the East Mungo South Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in
Cameroon.
From worshiping under a tree…
To building a small structure in a compound…
To constructing and completing a full Church House through sacrifice and
perseverance…
Today, by God’s grace, our church building stands
completed and will be officially dedicated in March 2026.
But our journey is not finished.
The Need: A
Home for Our Pastors & A Worship Space for Our Children
Our congregation continues to grow, especially
our children and youth. Yet:
- Our Sunday School does not have a dedicated worship space
- Our pastors do not have proper manse accommodation
- We lack essential infrastructure to support long-term ministry
To address this, we are launching the
construction of a:
Multipurpose
Sunday School & Manse Complex
This project will include:
✔ A befitting Sunday School Worship House
A safe, structured, and inspiring space where children can grow spiritually,
learn Christian values, and build a strong moral foundation.
✔ Two (2) Manses (Pastors’ Houses)
Decent and dignified homes for our two pastors, ensuring stability,
accessibility, and effective pastoral care for the congregation.
Why This
Matters
A church is more than a building.
It is a place where:
- Children are taught integrity and faith
- Families find guidance
- Communities receive hope
- Leaders are nurtured
- Lives are transformed
By building this complex, you are not just constructing
walls —
you are investing in:
✨ The spiritual future of children
✨ The stability of pastoral leadership
✨ The moral foundation of a community
✨ A legacy that will serve generations
Project Goal
The first phase of the structural framework is
estimated at:
80,000,000
FCFA (approximately 150,000 USD )
We are mobilizing funds internally, but we cannot
do this alone. We are stepping out in faith to invite friends, well-wishers,
diaspora partners, and generous hearts around the world to join us.
How You Can
Help
Every contribution matters.
- $10 helps buy building materials
- $50 supports structural work
- $100+ moves us significantly closer to completion
- Larger gifts can sponsor specific sections of the project
Whether you give a little or a lot, you become
part of this story.
